Welcome to ¡VALE!, an innovative Spanish language curriculum designed to make learning engaging and effective. The full Unit 1 has 7 Lessons. The sample included here has 3 lessons. The full unit comes with a slide deck (162 slides), editable lesson plans (25 pages) and a printable packet (39 pages) of activities, supplemental readings, guided writing, graphic organizers, assessments, and IEP modifications. The slides and the lesson plans are customizable. The printable sheets are not customizable, but could be edited in Kami.
This unit is called the Doble Vida. This unit is designed to get students thinking about the identity they show to the world and the one they keep to themselves. It also focuses on spies and superheroes who lead double lives. The grammar will focus on a review of present tense to help them prepare to use the subjunctive in later in this level. Later in the unit, students will learn about surrealism and Dalí. Students will enjoy the variety of fun activities.
This unit is best for schools that use an A-B Block or 4X4 block, but can be adapted to a daily schedule. We may offer a daily version of this unit in the future.
